Nanopool Ethereum Help

Ethereum Classic

Ethereum Classic is an open, decentralized, and permissionless public blockchain, that aims to fulfill the original promise of Ethereum, as a platform where smart contracts are free from third-party interference. ETC prioritizes trust-minimization, network security, and integrity. All network upgrades are non-contentious with the aim to fix critical issues or to add value with newly proposed features; never to create new tokens, or to bail out flawed smart contracts and their interest groups.

Nanopool ethereum slow responses

Is nanopool throttling jobs? I'm using claymore's dual miner setup for eth and sia. When I find a sia share on siaminer, the share is accepted in 15ms on us-east. When a nanopool ether share is accepted, I'm getting a 110-125ms response time on not only us-east but also on the secondary eu2 server, which makes me wonder.
I did ping the domain whilst being unable to connect to us-east (which has happened numerous times today randomly), and the ping-back was just 25ms. My hunch is either throttling or an inefficient backend, but I'm hoping it's just due to my underlying ignorance. Could anyone shed some light on why this might occur?
Also, after I've found an etherium share, the time between that point and the next job feels very sluggish.

What am I not getting about Nanopool/Ethereum balances.

I did some Ethereum mining a while ago and went to check where I am.
If I look at my Nanopool balance on my Ethereum wallet account at and I get one number, 0.04189517 ETH. I check at wallet and I get {"status":true,"data":0.306090660344288}, which is 0.3 eth, right? I have it set to pay at .2, so that should have gone through.
For the amount of mining I did .3 makes a lot more sense than .04. When I check my wallet balance outside of Nanopool I have nothing in it of course.
Any ideas?

A question about pool difficulty

Hi, I'm a relative beginner when it comes to mining pools so sorry if this is a dumb question...
On Nanopool (Ethereum) it states that share difficulty is static and equal to 5 billion
On Nicehash, it says to use a diff of >= 0.9
Im just confused how these two number relate to each other. I understand that a pool diff of 5 billion means the following:
3,585,527,069,502,730 ( current ETH network diff) / 5,000,000,000 (pool diff on Nanopool)
= 717105 (Number of shares on average before share is a block candidate)
But where does the 0.9 come from and how does it relate to the 5 billion i see from Nanopool?

I would like help please. Please.

Please help, I have gotten 12 shares from the nanopool ethereum claymore dual miner, but I only did one mine. It is not appearing in my current wallet which is jaxx wallet and I copied the "your ethereum address" text and pasted in the first algorithm address box. I checked in nanopool's address box in the top right and searched mine and that's how I confirmed that I have made share. Please help!!! I need my shares. :(

Ethereum on nanopool problem

I'm trying to setup 2 workers to mine eth on nanopool. The thing is that miner 1 crashes as soon as I start miner 2. Miner 2 mines like a charm. Bear in mind that there are 2 different rigs im talking about.
I copied the claymore settings and just changed rig name in the pool.txt and start.bat. eg. miner1 and miner2
Whats the problem here?

Nanopool payout when Ethereum ends proof of work?

Just curious if anyone knows what will happen for us hobby miners (I guess all miners, really) if the .2 threshold isn't reached in Nanopool when Ethereum switches from proof of work to proof of stake.
Will they simply pay out whatever is left in the balance? I would suspect so, but I'd prefer an authoritative answer if one is available.

Ethereum Wallet not showing my currency, bouncing mhash/s on genoli/nanopool?

I'm currently having some issues with Ether mining.
Problem 1: My Ether wallet isn't showing that I have any money in my account when I have some on the website?
Website: Wallet:
Problem 2: My current GPU mhash/s is bouncing. I'm using a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 4GB.
Shown Bounce:
I've heard that one of the issues with this is power and temps, here are my showings on MSI Afterburner:
Problem 3: Fluctuating Shares.
For some reason, my mining fluctuates constantly, even when I am sleeping and the system is only doing one thing, and that thing is mining. I randomly drop to accepting NO shares whatsoever for a little bit and then go back up to normal things. Is this normal? I don't know if it is, and the website also isn't showing a detected hashrate. Here's the pic again.
For some of these issues, this information I'm about to give may be helpful.
Start.bat: Mining Folder(Which folder my mining software is in/where it is on my computer): Where my ethereum wallet is on my computer:
My Ethereum Wallet and my Miner are in different places, is that an issue?
Overall, I don't know what to do about these issues, so I'm resulting to you guys. If you could help, I would be really grateful.

-Question, how to pay out ethereum on nanopool?

Hello, I´m new to this site and new to mining. Glad to say I managed to mine my first 0,1 ethereum on nanopool:) That also puts me to my question: How do i get the mined ethereum to my wallet? I read that would work automatically as soon as one reaches the minimum payout, which can be changed?
I have made a wallet for mining on the jaxx-website, which I used for mining. While mining, I didn´t put in there any emailadress just my ethereum adress as well as my worker name. It would be quite nice, if someone could tell me, now how to change the minium payout on nanopool site from 0,2 to 0,1 and secondly to transfer the mined ethereum to my wallet?:)
Thanks for your answers in advance!:) All the best Chrisdee

Currently using Nanopool for Ethereum 300+ MH/s.. does anyone have a solid argument for switching to a different pool?

Basically the title.. now that I have my 8 GPU rig up and running I jumped right into Nanopool since that's what I was familiar with. Just curious if anyone here has anything to say from their own experiences that would convince me that I'm in the wrong one. Thanks

Nanopool - Ethereum/Decred Miner Inquiry

Hello All,
I am a noob to cryptocurrency.
I have mined Ethereum... I have a single Ethereum. I am on my way to retirement and buying yachts and other expensive things.
A tool on nanopools website involves dual mining. Dual mine Ethereum and Decred! Wonderful. If only I knew where the mined Decred is going....
Could someone explain where the 'Claymore' dual miner is placing the Decred currency? Is it... going to the developers Decred wallet...?

My gpu never goes above 60C, even when overclocked. The cmd window just closes when it crashes, and i don't know what is wrong or how to fix it.
